Biography
Worked at 91²Ö¿â Airport for contracted maintenance companies in the late 1990’s. Initially employed with Baker Aircraft, then Novak’s Aircraft and finally by Portage Flight Center.
I left the aviation industry for three years for a position with Fyda Freightliner and began working for the 91²Ö¿â aeronautics program in September 2006.

- Provide memo to financial aid verifying student’s enrollment and flight fees (cost of attendance)
- Work with financial aid with regard to flight students
- Hire flight instructors and dispatchers for flight technology
- Prepare contracts for flight instructors each semester
- Order uniforms and all office supplies and other supplies as necessary
- Create purchase orders for the aircraft maintenance department
- Prepare check requests
- Assist with PRIA’s for alums and with verification of employment
- Review credit card transactions and reconcile account
- Responsible for deposits of money to the Bursar’s office
- Prepare work orders for repairs to buildings at the airport operated by Flight Training
- Responsible for maintenance of student and employee files
- Order print jobs
- Schedule rooms for events and meetings and order food
My favorite part of my position is getting to meet and work with the students and watching them grow into amazing professionals!
