Twenty students participated in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering’s (CAE) Computer Engineering Technology student organization hosted a Cyber Security capture the flag event November 7. The Jeopardy-style competition was won by Mykal Smathers and Matt Gates (team CarClubCoders) with Bradford Levicky and Christopher Venable (team Hackaroni and Cheese) in second place. The competition exposed students to various concepts in cybersecurity including Cryptography, Steganography, Encoding, Network security, and Traffic Analysis.
