The work focuses on global issues in policing, including those pertaining to specialization, education and training, leadership, corruption, discrimination and response to catastrophic events such as natural disasters and terrorism.

Lae'l Hughes-Watkins, University Libraries Department of Special Collections and Archives, authored an article titled&�Բ�����;“Between Two Worlds: A Look at the Impact of the Black Campus Movement on the Antiwar Era of 1968–1970 at 91�ֿ�” published in the journal Ohio History. The article reframes the antiwar movement and the 91�ֿ� shootings through the lens of race and relies heavily on the narratives of African-American alumni who were on the frontlines of the black campus movement.
