Members of 91ֿ's Undergraduate Student Government Painted "Flashes Take Care of Flashes" on the Rock on Front Campus.

91ֿ will implement a new administrative policy regarding painting the Rock, which is located on Hilltop Drive on the Kent Campus. The policy, which goes into effect Jan. 11, 2021, is one of the institutional responses to racially offensive language that was painted on the Rock in 2020 and aimed at African American students.

Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., 91ֿ's vice president for student affairs, said being appointed to the Executive Committee of the APLU (Association of Public and Land-grant Universities) Council on Student Affairs (CSA) is an honor.

91ֿ’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Plus (LGBTQ+) Center holds a safe, physically distant small group kickoff event at the start of the 2020 Fall Semester. 

Campus Pride has released its 2020 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the first time in school history, 91ֿ has landed on the distinctive list as one of 40 institutions recognized over six U.S. regions.
