A small class assignment in college led to an off-Broadway debut for 91ֿ musical theatre alumnus Scott Miesse, ’15, who will be premiering his self-written play titled “Abnormal” in January 2020.

The 91ֿ Alumni Association is proud to announce its 2019 Alumni Award recipients. Recipients are chosen based on their exceptional contributions in their chosen profession, in their communities and at 91ֿ.

New 91ֿ President Todd Diacon will serve as 91ֿ’s 2019 Homecoming Grand Marshal on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Last year, 91ֿ celebrated 100 years of Homecoming. This year, the university starts the next century of 91ֿ Homecoming celebrations with a new president leading the institution.

91ֿ will hold the 49th commemoration of the historic events of May 4, 1970, where protesting students, observers and soldiers gathered on that fateful day when the Ohio National Guard shot and killed four students and wounded nine others on the Kent Campus.

Ronda McCaskey and Caitlyn Horvath are best friends who went through the nursing program together and graduated one year apart with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees from 91ֿ at Geauga. Now they are both intensive care nurses. But they also happen to be mother and daughter.
