Five 91²Ö¿â graduates will compete at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics over the coming weeks, breaking the school’s previous record of four Olympians at the Munich Games in 1972.
The quintet will represent four different countries with being the first Golden Flash to don the Team USA uniform since Kim Kreiner in 2008.
The Canadian duo of and will be 91²Ö¿â’s first alumni in action. The men’s golf competition consists of four rounds of 18 holes, beginning on July 29 and concluding on Aug. 1.
Jagers and Jamaican are scheduled for the qualifying round of throwing events as track and field action begins on July 30. Jagers will make his Olympics debut in the men’s discus throw and aims to advance to the finals the following day. Thomas-Dodd will compete in the women’s shot put for the second straight Olympics. The native of Westmoreland, Jamaica, hopes to improve on her 26th-place showing in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and advance to the finals on Aug. 1.
will be the final Flash to compete when he wears the Brazilian uniform for men’s long jump qualifying on July 31. Following a day of rest, the event finals will take place on Aug. 2.
