Physical representations of mathematical concepts were incorporated into the design of 91�ֿ�'s Mathematical Sciences Building. Completed in 1993, curves, spirals, triangles and other math expressions can be found throughout the structure. 

Research Writing Retreats, sponsored by 91�ֿ�’s Graduate College, offer a distraction-free environment for graduate students to work on their research and writing projects. While “giving them permission” to put other aspects of life aside and focus on their writing, the retreats also create a supportive community that enhances productivity while also offering welcome accountability from their peers. 

It was just a year ago on April 8, 2024, that the 91�ֿ� community came together to witness a spectacular celestial event – the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.

Researchers from 91�ֿ� and other institutions have published a study in the Royal Society of Chemistry's journal, “Environmental Science: Processes & Impacts,” detailing the environmental consequences of the chemical spill and burn following a Norfolk Southern train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, over two years ago.
