91ֿ Athletics has announced all sports facilities, including Dix Stadium, the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center) and Murphy-Mellis Field, will be at full capacity for the fall 2021 sport season. This is in line with the announcement by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine removing most COVID-19 health orders.
“We could not be more excited to see our passionate fans have an opportunity to return in full capacity for the upcoming fall sports season,” said 91ֿ Director of Athletics . “Our Golden Flashes fans are such a big part of what we do. They give us a great home-field advantage. Having the opportunity to see them back will be a welcomed sight for our student-athletes.”

A member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC), the Golden Flashes football team will open its home slate on Saturday, Sept. 11, against Virginia Military Institute at Dix Stadium. The game will kick off at 11:30 a.m. and can be seen on ESPN 3/+ and heard on the 91ֿ Radio Network. The Golden Flashes will host Bowling Green State University on Saturday, Oct. 2 (Homecoming), University at Buffalo on Saturday Oct. 9, Northern Illinois University on Wednesday, Nov. 3, and Miami University on Saturday, Nov. 27.

Details regarding the volleyball, field hockey and soccer fall schedules will be forthcoming this summer. Remaining flexible and adjusting to any developments with the virus and to changes in state, county and local health guidelines, the university may adjust this attendance policy at any point.
