91ֿ’s Online MBA program is ranked among the top 100 programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report’s on its 2019 Best Online MBA Programs list.
91ֿ’s Online MBA program ranks 90th in the country and 66th among public institutions. This is the first year 91ֿ was eligible to be ranked since its program launched in fall 2017.
“We are extremely pleased that our Online MBA program is ranked among the best in the nation,” said Deborah F. Spake, Ph.D., dean of 91ֿ’s College of Business Administration. “The strength of the program is due to our world-renowned faculty and dedicated team of instructional designers who have created engaging, collaborative and accessible courses built around the expertise of our faculty.”
According to the U.S. News & World Report’s ranking methodology, online MBA programs were ranked based on five categories: engagement, student excellence, expert opinion, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology.
“Our Online MBA program has been a high priority for the college,” said Cathy L. Z. DuBois, Ph.D., associate dean for graduate and online programs at the College of Business Administration at 91ֿ. “Our expert faculty bring the material to life and emphasize practical application. The college’s advising staff are also highly responsive to the needs of our students.”
Online MBA faculty members such as Nasr Elbahnasawy, Ph.D., associate professor of economics, have made an effort to provide an engaging learning experience for online students.
“I strive to provide interactive instructional materials related to the real world,” Dr. Elbahnasawy said. “It is important to have clear communication and continuously remain present in the online environment along each component of the course. My job is more effective when students realize that I am always here to help when they experience any difficulties.”
Online MBA graduate Peggy Coyne, who works as a lead analyst at the J.M. Smucker Company, found that 91ֿ provided the quality and flexibility she was looking for in an online MBA program.
“For years, I wanted to further my career by pursuing my MBA, but I placed my dream on hold because the options that fit my busy schedule didn’t provide the educational quality I desired,” Mrs. Coyne said. “That changed when I found the 91ֿ Online MBA program. This program provided me work-life flexibility with the opportunity to learn from expert faculty in a collaborative learning format. As a result of participating in this program, I have learned valuable skills that have helped me to achieve my career goals. I highly recommend the 91ֿ Online MBA experience.”
