Each year, hundreds of 91ֿ Golden Flashes gather across the globe to make a difference in their communities. 91ֿ alumni and friends have the opportunity to participate in the 10th annual Alumni Day of Service on Saturday, April 21.
Sponsored by the 91ֿ Alumni Association, Alumni Day of Service provides opportunities for 91ֿ alumni, friends and family to give back by participating in local volunteer projects while strengthening ties with fellow members of the 91ֿ community.
“I love the opportunity to give back to the community and work with fellow 91ֿ alumni,” said volunteer Diane Laney Fitzpatrick, who graduated from 91ֿ in 1981. “When you’re so far away from Kent, it helps to raise the profile of 91ֿ. When others see us with our 91ֿ T-shirts on, it makes a big impact and it makes people realize that 91ֿ is really dedicated to having their alumni give back to their communities wherever they live.”
The registration deadline is April 9. For a complete listing of volunteer sites and to register, please visit .
The 91ֿ Alumni Association was created in 1910 to build and sustain lifelong relationships among more than 241,000 alumni, students and the 91ֿ community through programs and services. For more information, please visit .
