The Performing Arts Center at 91²Ö¿â at Tuscarawas welcomes the holiday season with three different shows sure to get the entire family into the holiday spirit!
Christmas in Killarney arrives on Tuesday, December 12. Set in Killarney, Ireland in the late 1920’s, Christmas In Killarney shows what it means to celebrate Christmas the ‘Irish’ way, were many of our own Christmas traditions originated. Created by the 2009 World Champion of Irish Dance Scott Doherty and worldwide touring Irish musician Chris Smith, Christmas In Killarney combines the excitement of Irish dance with the harmonies of traditional Christmas classics. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $35.
Grammy Award winning country group Diamond Rio brings their Holiday & Hits tour to New Philadelphia on Sunday, December 17. Amassing numerous accolades throughout the years, the band is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, won six Vocal Group of the Year Awards (four CMA and two ACM), received fourteen Grammy nominations, and won a Grammy Award for their album, The Reason. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $53.
On Tuesday, December 19, Away In The Basement: A Church Basement Ladies Christmas arrives at the PAC and is the perfect holiday show for the whole family. This hilarious musical comedy takes us back to 1959 and the day of the Sunday School Christmas Program. In the midst of holiday preparations and sprinklings of love in the air, the ladies in their witty, down-to-earth style are creating their own memories from Christmases past and present. Known for their hilarious antics and subtle charm, they are once again called upon to step in and save the day! The Church Ladies will perform two shows, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets for Away In The Basement start at $25.
