Dr. Stephen Minnick, Academic Vice Dean
Dr. Stephen Minnick serves as the Academic Vice Dean of 91²Ö¿â at Tuscarawas and is a Professor of Physics. Prior to his appointment as Academic Vice Dean, he was a Faculty member at the Tuscarawas Campus for fourteen years teaching various lower-division Physics/Astronomy courses.
Dr. Minnick is a two time graduate of Penn State University, earning a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1981, and a Ph.D. in Physics majoring in Particle Astrophysics in 2003. He also earned an M.S. in Physics majoring in Plasma Physics/Directed Energy Weapons from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California in 1989.
Dr. Minnick was a United State Naval Officer, retiring in 1998. He is a qualified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Engineer and Surface Warfare Officer, as well as a Professional Electrical Engineer.
