Nearly $1 million in new scholarships will provide critical support to 91�ֿ� students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Rapids Grant will bolster workforce development with future 91�ֿ� graduates filling key shortages in industries across Ohio.

The 91�ֿ� alumni family grew by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university held its fall Commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2022 were recognized with in-person ceremonies for all colleges and degrees on Dec. 17.

A team of university leaders and communicators from 91�ֿ� is currently visiting the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná in Brazil.

First-year students Ronica Marandi and Goli Kavoosi organized the rally in partnership with 91�ֿ�’s Women's Center and the School of Peace and Conflict Studies to raise awareness about the atrocities that are happening in Iran. 

The 91�ֿ� Board of Trustees approved the establishment of a new master’s degree that will help meet two decades of sustained growth in the broad field of conflict studies. The new Peace and Conflict Studies major within the Master of Arts degree will be offered in person on the Kent Campus and will prepare students for careers as practitioners in the fields of peace and conflict management and for doctorate study.

The American Academy (AA) program offers the 91�ֿ� experience to students in Brazil.

The cause of a fire that burned for two days last week at the historic Star of the West mill complex remains undetermined. 

Linda Hoeptner Poling’s “student-centered” attitude is what led to her receiving recognition from her students and ultimately the Distinguished Teaching Award.

The 91�ֿ� Press publishes dozens of titles each year, from crime fiction and poetry to history and biographies, all of which make for great holiday gift giving.
