Antique books at the KSU Surplus Store

91²Ö¿â's Surplus Store, located on E.Main Street offers a variety of useful items including furniture, electronics, office supplies and a fascinating selection of antique maps and books, with many books that are more than 100 years old. The store is a reflection of 91²Ö¿â's commitment to sustainable practices and disposing of items that are no longer needed by the university. 

9/11 Flag Display on Campus

Remembering the world-changing events of 9/11, 23 years later, a display of flags was placed on the Kent Campus, near the University Library.

Summer in Kent 2024

While there are fewer students on campus during summer break, the Kent Campus is still alive with energy and aspirations. 91²Ö¿â International Admissions celebrated the spirit of summer in Kent with inspiring words and beautiful images that welcome their international students to campus.

Prairie Burn 2024

The annual prairie burn on the university property near the Recreation and Wellness Center renews healthy plant growth and saves 91²Ö¿â money in maintenance costs.

 

A blaze burns the prairie grass that grows behind the Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center during a controlled burning by the Kent Fire Department.

The protected prairie surrounding 91²Ö¿â’s Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center will be burned on Monday, April 15, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon, to allow for new growth during the summer season.
