91²Ö¿â launched the public phase of its $350 million Forever Brighter comprehensive fundraising campaign in October 2021, and during the first year of the public campaign, a record-breaking $77.6 million was raised. This philanthropic feat was made possible with the support of 10,687 donors, 3,753 of whom made a gift to 91²Ö¿â for the first time.

For a third consecutive year, 91²Ö¿â has been selected as one the nation’s top universities for LGBTQ+ students for creating a safe, welcoming environment for students, faculty and staff, according to Campus Pride, a leading resource for LGBTQ+ leadership development, diversity inclusion and advocacy within higher education.

The 91²Ö¿â alumni family will grow by more than 1,200 new graduates as the university holds its summer commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2022 will be recognized with in-person, outdoor commencement ceremonies and a virtual commencement ceremony on Aug. 20.

91²Ö¿â is excited to be a part of the Ohio College Comeback Compact, an innovative program to help students who left college with debt but without a degree to continue their education. 91²Ö¿â is collaborating with seven public colleges and universities in Northeast Ohio to reach out to these students and provide a path back to higher education while reducing or eliminating their debt.

Wesley is the first student to graduate from American Academy

Alvacir Wesley Kalatai Alberti of Imbituva, Brazil, is the first student to graduate from the American Academy, a dual-enrollment program offered jointly at 91²Ö¿â and the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana, located in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil.

Students Aim to Make 91²Ö¿â ‘Most Refugee-Welcoming Campus in America’

Turmoil from recent wars and tragedies causes millions to be displaced from their homes every year. This year is no exception with the intensifying conflict in Ukraine, forcing millions of refugees to find safety elsewhere. Not only do these refugees need shelter, but they also need education and the opportunity to have new life experiences in different countries.
