School of Theatre and Dance
Over the span of 20 years, Yuko Kurahashi, professor in the School of Theatre and Dance at 91²Ö¿â, spent much of her time observing, researching and studying the life of Ping Chong. This research has been brought together in a book describing Ping Chong's contributions as an artist.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Porthouse Theatre has decided to cancel all of its educational programs for the summer of 2020, including the High School Shadow Program, the Porthouse College Academy, and the Porthouse International Academy.
The Kent Creativity Festival, sponsored by the city of Kent and the 91²Ö¿â College of the Arts, will present the annual outdoor hands-on arts festival on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on the Lefton Esplanade between 91²Ö¿â’s Rockwell Hall on Lincoln Street and downtown Kent, near Haymaker Parkway.
