For the first time in its history, 91ֿ at Trumbull hosted a White Coat Ceremony for students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Held Tuesday, on the first day of spring classes, the ceremony is a rite of passage for medical and nursing students in their journey toward a career in healthcare.
For the third consecutive year, Veterinary Technology students at 91ֿ at Trumbull earned the highest three-year average passage rate in Ohio on the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE), administered by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB).
Following a national search, R. William (Bill) Ayres IV, Ph.D., of Toledo, Ohio, has been selected as the new dean and chief administrative officer of 91ֿ at Trumbull. Ayres is currently a professor of political science at the University of Toledo, where he previously served as senior vice provost for academic affairs from 2018 to 2020 and vice provost for academic affairs from 2017 to 2018.
From now through Sunday, Sept. 19, Cockeye Creamery, located at 1805 1/2 Parkman Road NW in Warren, will be serving its 91ֿ-inspired ice cream “Black Squirrel” to raise money for 91ֿ at Trumbull’s Care Closet.
Beginning this fall, 91ֿ at Trumbull will offer Trumbull Correctional Institution incarcerated individuals a chance to complete a Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies (BTAS).
Lance Grahn, 91ֿ at Trumbull’s dean and chief administrative officer, was recently named as one of this year’s Community Star award recipients.
