Kelsen LaBerge receives the Outstanding Teaching Award.

Kelsen LaBerge, Ph.D., a professor in 91²Ö¿â's College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE), has been named one of three recipients of the 2024 Outstanding Teaching Award, the highest honor for non-tenure track and part-time faculty at the university.

David Thal, Pan-American Games Silver Medalist

A faculty member in 91²Ö¿â's College of Architecture and Environmental Design and his teammates earned a silver medal  in the 2024 Pan-American Master Games. 

Trent True and Calvin Bickerstaff working in the foundry

Professor Trent True from the College of Aeronautics and Engineering was recently honored by senior student-athlete Calvin Bickerstaff as the professor who made the biggest impact on his academic success at 91²Ö¿â. Bickerstaff, a pitcher for the 91²Ö¿â Baseball team, selected True as his "Most Valuable Professor."

The 37th Annual Senior Honors Luncheon was held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 in the 91²Ö¿â Ballroom to recognize seniors graduating in the spring, summer and fall of 2023. This ceremony also provides an opportunity for the Honors College to recognize faculty who have served the college with their time and efforts to allow for exceptional opportunities and experiences for Honors students.

Beginning this fall, the 91²Ö¿â Glauser School of Music will welcome Jasmine Hines to the music education department as an assistant professor. Her appointment in the newly created position follows a rigorous national search with a specialty in choral music education.

Dirk Remley has been with 91²Ö¿â since 1990. Remley graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. He continued his studies at Bowling Green State University by earning his Masters of Arts in English Literature. He then completed his Ph.D. in rhetoric and composition from 91²Ö¿â.
