Students help prepare food at the Campus Kitchen at 91²Ö¿â.

The Campus Kitchen at 91²Ö¿â is celebrating eight years of making an impact across campus and in the Kent community, annually turning 60,000 pounds of leftover food into 18,000 meals.

Radd Ehrman, Ph.D., receives the Distinguished Teaching Award, the highest teaching award a tenured or tenure-track professor can receive.

Radd Ehrman, Ph.D., who teaches languages including Latin, is one of three educators honored with the Distinguished Teaching Award, the highest teaching award a tenured or tenure-track professor can receive. All tenured and tenure-track professors are eligible to receive the award which is sponsored by the 91²Ö¿â Alumni Association.

A prominent political strategist, lawyer and advocate for positive change in the political process will serve as the keynote speaker at 91²Ö¿â’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. Angela Rye, principal and CEO of IMPACT Strategies, will join the university in celebrating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 23 at 3:30 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom.
