The 91²Ö¿â Votes initiative is working with organizations and departments across campus to help engage and inform student voters in advance of the coming elections. 

Second-year nursing students at 91²Ö¿â received white coats in a ceremony marking their transition into the professional sequence of their program. 

91²Ö¿â's College of Architecture and Environmental Design welcomed new and returning students back to campus with ice cream on the Lefton Esplanade and greetings from the college's dean, program heads and leaders of its student organizations. 

91²Ö¿â welcomed undergraduate researchers from our university, Cleveland State University and the University of Akron to the Kent Campus for the 19th annual Northeast Ohio Undergraduate Research Symposium.

Before classes began for Fall Semester 2024, the 91²Ö¿â Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer Plus (LGBTQ+) Center welcomed the university's LGBTQ+ community back to campus with a Fall Kickoff event.

Music, activities, games and fun brought together 91²Ö¿â's international students for a global block party.

The celebration, Sept. 19-21, will be packed with panel discussions, workshops and poetry readings, culminating in a gala dinner on Sept. 21.

For the past month, 91²Ö¿â has hosted 37 international graduate students as part of the Fulbright Pre-Academic Program, a monthlong immersion in American higher education and culture. The group, from 26 countries, arrived on the Kent Campus on July 21 and was scheduled to depart on Aug. 17 to begin their graduate programs at universities throughout the country.
