Education, healthcare and workforce development were discussed at the Ohio Latino Affairs Summit

The Ohio Latino Affairs Summit brought together about 500 participants in-person and virtually, including educators, legislators, state and local communities and stakeholders to discuss issues affecting the Latino communities and how best to improve them together.

Hundreds of walkers joined the ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter for the walk held at the college’s Independence campus to raise money for the ALS Association, which is the only national nonprofit organization fighting ALS.

The MPower Men of Color Summit will take place Oct. 13-15

The MPower Summit on Oct. 14 is designed to bring students, faculty, and staff together from college, high school, and community organizations to support the mission of men of color initiatives. All people are welcome to attend the summit, which will be held at the 91ֿ Student Center.

Interior designer Madelyn Orcutt traveled abroad and in New York City as a student at 91ֿ

For Madelyn Orcutt, an interior designer who works for Richardson Design in Cleveland, the 91ֿ’s personal touch, beautiful campus and proximity to her Canton, Ohio, home influenced her decision to attend the university.
