External Resources
In addition to our internal resources, there are many organizations that also provide support to Undergraduate Student Researchers. To find further information on a specific area of research, we encourage all students to look on their professional organization's website.
The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) and its affiliated colleges, universities, and individuals share a focus on providing undergraduate research opportunities for faculty and students at all institutions serving undergraduate students.
CUR offers their own Student Resource Center, which offers further information on networking, applying for and presenting research, and where to find further research opportunities. Visit their page for more information.
The National Science Foundation funds a large number of research opportunities for undergraduate students through its REU Sites program.
The University of Queensland Australia founded the Three Minute Thesis. On their website, award-winning presentations of research can be found, which aid students in preparing presentations for their own research.
