Assistance with Monitoring Expenditures - Katie Johnson (May 2, 2023 2:30-3:30pm)
This Spring Sponsored Programs launched a new initiative to provide greater assistance with monitoring and processing grant-related expenditures. Katie Johnson has joined our office after serving for several years as Grants Administrator in Biological Sciences and has started the process of contacting PIs and support staff to offer assistance with reviewing expenditures for research grants with seemingly disproportionate balances.
Katie and other Sponsored Programs staff will provide an overview of the anticipated short- and long-term goals for the position and solicit feedback from PIs and units for what would be most helpful in effectively managing this process.
