Our Team
Anna Anello is a 5th year double major in neuroscience and computer science. She is involved in the Scientistas, HacKSU, Kent Hack Enough, Combat Robotics, and the Association of Computing and Machinery Women's Chapter. Anna joined this project because she loves to work with girls who are interested in STEM fields and encourage them to pursue a career in STEM. She was also super excited for the eclipse before learning about this project, so to be a part of something like this is a dream for her. Anna's favorite part of the project has been learning how to set everything up and meeting other women in STEM who are also part of this wonderful project.
Hannah Petrosky is a senior Integrated Science major with a minor in Mild to Moderate Special Education. Hannah works in the Kent Chemistry Stockroom on campus, and is also a member of the Scientistas. Hannah was able to join this project through her involvement with the 91²Ö¿â pre-teaching program. Her favorite part about the eclipse project is that she gets to enjoy both her passions of science and teaching others.
Anna Duraney is a second-year neuroscience major. She is involved with the Scientistas, neuroscience club, and Brain Health Research Institute. Drawn to STEM projects and connecting with like-minded individuals, Anna joined the EIU project. She has enjoyed contributing to the solar eclipse imaging, recognizing the project’s significance in nurturing lifelong scientific interest.
