Peter Sagal, host of one of National Public Radio’s (NPR) most popular radio programs, Wait, Wait … Don’t Tell Me, will speak as part of the Tuscarawas 50th Anniversary on University Drive Celebration on Monday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Mr. Sagal replaces the previously announced Dave Barry who had to cancel his appearance because of a family health emergency.
WKSU has announced the addition of an often-requested listening option with the debut of a pledge-free stream benefit – just in time for the station’s fall fund drive. The pledge-free content stream replaces typical fundraising talk breaks with more programming. Listeners who become sustaining members with an ongoing monthly donation will now have the ability to listen to WKSU as normal during fund drives.
The 91ֿ Alumni Association is inviting faculty and staff to show off their 91ֿ spirit and pride by decorating their offices with this year’s theme of 100 Years of Homecoming. Offices planning to participate should be registered at by Monday, Sept. 17, at 5 p.m.

91ֿ's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
Testing Your Faith Act (H.B. 353) was enacted in the Spring 2023 semester. In ordinance with this bill, 91ֿ created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.
