Residence Hall Visitor Parking Information

Daytime Visitor Parking Information:

  • One-day permits can be purchased from Parking Services for $4 per day.
  • Purchase a permit from the kiosk located within the Ice Arena parking lot or the C-Campus Center Drive parking lot. The hourly rate is $1.25 per hour or $5 for all day.
  • Park in the Student Center visitor's parking lot, maximum rate: $7.50 per visit. There is no charge after 6 p.m. on Fridays and on weekends. The Student Center parking lot is closed from 3 a.m. – 5 a.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Parking meters/Passport Zones can be used by anyone (parking permits are not honored in these zones). These areas are enforced 24/7.  The rate is $1.25 per hour.  These areas provide close and convenient parking but can become more costly once you go past 3-4 hours.

Evening (after 4:00 p.m.) Visitor Parking Information:

  • Evening visitors may park in the following dedicated Passport zones (R16 lot behind Verder Hall, R7 Bowman parking lot, the lower bays of the Center for Performing Arts parking lot, R6 Library lot) between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday.  The hourly rate is $1.25 per hour or $3 for all night.  This is the least expensive option for evening parking. There is no charge to park in these parking lots on the weekends.
  •  Parents and frequent visitors can purchase an Evening Visitor parking permit to use when they come to visit for $30 per semester. This permit is valid in any “C” commuter parking lot from 4 p.m. until 8 a.m. Monday through Thursday. There is no charge to park in the “C” commuter parking lots on the weekends. This is an economical option for someone who visits at least once a week.
  • Parking meters/Passport Zones can be used by anyone (parking permits are not honored in these zones). These areas are enforced 24/7.  The rate is $1.25 per hour.  These areas provide close and convenient parking but can become more costly once you go past 3-4 hours.
