Biography
Don-John Dugas studies Shakespeare, Tudor and Stuart drama, Theatre History, and the History of the Book. He is the author of Shakespeare for Everyman: Ben Greet in Early Twentieth-Century America (Society for Theatre Research) and Marketing the Bard: Shakespeare in Performance and Print, 1660–1740 (University of Missouri Press). He is the recipient of a number of teaching awards, including the Department of English’s Excellence in Undergraduate Mentoring Award, the College of Arts and Sciences’ Distinguished Teacher Award, the Honors College’s Distinguished Faculty Award, and the 91²Ö¿â Alumni Association’s Distinguished Teaching Award—the university’s highest teaching honor.
