As the university writing center, the Writing Commons supports 91²Ö¿â students at all levels and in every academic discipline with any projects that include writing.

The 91²Ö¿â Bookstore has announced its fourth annual Holiday Giving Tree Program. A tree is set up at the entrance to University Bookstore located in the Kent Student Center. Each ornament on the tree represents a boy or girl who is living in transitional housing in Portage County.
The Allerton Apartment Complex went through its final phase of demolishment at the end of August. The process of closing the apartment complex has been going on since 2005. Buildings A, B, C and D were the final buildings to be razed.

91²Ö¿â President Beverly Warren delivered her first State of the University address on Nov. 19 in the Kent Student Center Kiva. 91²Ö¿â faculty, staff, students and members of the community were invited to attend the event, which was themed âCelebrating Today, Imagining Tomorrow.â

The 91²Ö¿â Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the universityâs 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 91²Ö¿â in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 91²Ö¿â remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
