Adding or Dropping a Class

You will learn throughout your college career that your first schedule may not always be your final schedule, so let’s talk about how to edit your schedule after you’ve already met with your advisor.

First, I want to highly encourage that you always get a second opinion from your academic and financial aid advisor before making any adjustments to your schedule as it can affect your graduation and financial aid. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the schedules issued by the Registrar’s Office and Bursar’s Office so that you understand how this may impact your grades, and as mentioned earlier, your financial aid.

If you want to add or drop a class, you can do so by logging into , hover over Student on the left sidebar, select Courses and Registration and then Add/Drop a course. It’s pretty easy!

Withdrawing from a course looks the same as dropping it! You will head over to your schedule by logging into , hovering over Student on the left sidebar, clicking on Courses and Registration, and then selecting Withdrawal in the dropdown menu next to the class you wish to withdraw from.

If you have not yet met with your advisor, it is important that you do so before you edit your schedule. You can schedule an appointment with an advisor by visiting
