Coming to 91ֿ as a transfer student from a local community college in her hometown of Toledo, Laurel Johnson, ’17, wanted to get involved and become an integrated member of the 91ֿ community.
Drawn to 91ֿ by the communication studies program, Ms. Johnson wanted to further her education and earn a bachelor’s degree after receiving her associate degree. She transferred to 91ֿ in 2015 for her junior year.
Now in its second year, the annual 91ֿ of Accessibility event once again promises to engage attendees with unique perspectives to result in a better understanding of experiences of individuals with disabilities in a more inclusive 91ֿ environment.
