91ֿ President Beverly Warren inspired the university community to embrace the upcoming academic year as the “Year of Innovation” in seeking new ways to collaborate with a collective purpose that makes a positive impact on the region and the world.
Angela Spalsbury, Ph.D., of Chesterland, Ohio, has been selected as the new dean and chief administrative officer of 91ֿ at Geauga in Burton and 91ֿ’s Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg. A 91ֿ alumna, Dr. Spalsbury currently serves as professor and chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Youngstown State University. She will join 91ֿ on Jan.
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Finals are Friday, Oct. 27, from noon-2 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Kiva. The 3MT gives 91ֿ graduate students just three minutes and one PowerPoint slide as tools to explain their research in a clear, engaging and concise manner.
