The tragic events that occurred on the campus of 91²Ö¿â on May 4, 1970, where four students lost their lives and nine others were wounded by the Ohio National Guard, had a lasting impact that continues to resonate nearly a half-century later.  The site has been listed as one of the nation's historic places worthy of preservation by the National Register of Historic Places list of in 2010 and the National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior in 2016.

The Kent Stage

Constructed in 1927 as a silent movie and vaudevillian theater, the Kent Stage is the sole surviving downtown theater in the county.  It was named the Best Acoustic Venue in Northeast Ohio by The Plain Dealer (Cleveland-based newspaper).  You can check out what's playing on their website.
