The ELPC is a specialized speech and language clinic associated with the main 91ֿ Speech and Hearing Clinic. Clients are seen individually by M.A. level students from our graduate program in Speech Pathology

Telepractice

The Speech Pathology and Audiology Department hosts a research project studying the efficacy of using a "telepractice" or telehealth service delivery model to provide speech and language therapy services to students in rural Ohio school districts.

91ֿ’s Speech and Hearing Clinic launches a new group therapy and now offers 3 different Social Skills groups during the Summer 2019 semester.

Group Therapy

91ֿ’s Speech Pathology and Audiology Department also hosts a number of group therapy sessions. These sessions include school-age social skills groups, early intervention groups for children (birth - 3 years), and adult cognitive-communication groups.

The 91ֿ Speech and Hearing Center is proud to be Ohio's SPEAK OUT! Therapy and Research Center supported by a grant through the. The clinic offers individual treatment as well as SPEAK OUT! Therapy Groups to address voice and communication difficulties for people with any stage of Parkinson’s.  This  will teach our clients to “speak with intent” using the pyramidal system in the brain less reliant on dopamine, a neurotransmitter known to be decreased with Parkinson’s.
