New Laptop Computers, Cart for Salem Campus

The Salem Community Foundation recently donated more than $51,000 to the 91ֿ Salem Campus for the purchase of 45 new laptop computers, as well as a charging cart.

The computers are Dell Latitiude 5490 XCTO models and are used by faculty for testing and instruction of students in all majors. The charging cart allows the laptops to be recharged after each use, while securely stored.

“With this donation, the Salem Community Foundation again demonstrated its support of our mission to put students first and to provide educational opportunities for our community members,” noted Dr. David Dees, dean and chief administrative officer of the 91ֿ Columbiana County campuses. “This is a significant contribution to our campus, because these computers are used every day by students and faculty members in the classrooms.”
