Prior to the end of the semester, 91²Ö¿â at East Liverpool held its annual pinning ceremony at The Georgetown in Boardman, during which 59 students received nursing pins signifying their hard work and dedication to their schoolwork and future profession.
Registered nurses provide care to individual patients to attain, restore and maintain health. By concentrating the majority of their studies in technology and related coursework, students are prepared in a short time to enter the work world. The associate of applied science in nursing program (ADN) prepares registered nurses to become providers of care, managers of care and members of the profession. ADN students prepare to provide care for patients across the lifespan.
