Biography
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Ms. Harrington worked her way through college and graduate school as a first-generation student from a blue-collar family. This background influences her teaching, her creative writing, her professional development, and her educational pursuits.
Ms. Harrington’s instructional experience includes teaching first-year composition, professional writing, journalism, and literature courses in different learning environments: regional campuses, commuter campuses, a community college, a technical school, an urban league, and a vacuum cleaner factory.
