Student Organizations

Get involved in our biology community

Student organizations provide opportunities for learning outside the classroom, meeting new people, sharing and exploring interests, broadening your point of view, and developing life, work and leadership skills.

And if that isn’t enough reason to inspire you, students who are involved tend to:

  •      Get better grades
  •      Be more successful in their academic program
  •      Be more likely to stay in school and graduate on time
  •      Feel more satisfied with their college experience
  •      Be more marketable when job searching and applying to graduate schools
  •      Develop valuable leadership and interpersonal skills

The Biology Club is a group of like-minded students interested in the biological sciences, including botany, conservation, zoology, biology, ecology, etc. The biology club provides hands-on experience with animals, trips to local biological establishments, and speakers throughout the school year. We also have members of all class standings to discuss current and future courses.
