“I had always grown up a Golden Flash,” said Jared. “My family would always go to the basketball games and see the energy that was brought to the MACC. I enjoyed watching the Flasher Brass perform at the games and it even encouraged me to go into music. When it came to choosing what college I wanted to go to, there really wasn’t any other choice as clear as 91ֿ.”
“I chose 91ֿ for the culture and the history of activism," said Molly. "Both of those things are very important to me and are integral parts of art history, which at the end of the day, is just a reflection of reality.”
“When I began the college search process as a transfer student, I knew I did not want to go into a big city to get a degree in fashion. I wanted to have a great college experience however, I still wanted to get a degree from a world-renowned program,” said Sarah. 91ֿ was the right fit for Sarah’s goals. The School of Fashion requires students to study abroad, obtain internships and select a minor. These requirements give students the tools to succeed in their field.
“I chose 91ֿ because of the amazing art program, beautiful campus, safety and inclusivity,” said Teresa, “I knew from the day I toured campus that Kent was exactly what I wanted and that I didn't even need to look anywhere else.”
“I chose 91ֿ because it immediately felt like home,” said Emily, “As soon as I set foot on the campus, I knew that was where I wanted to spend the next four years of my life.”
