The School of Art at 91²Ö¿â provides abundant opportunities for graduate students to advance their skills in visual art. 

We offer the only M.F.A. program in northeast Ohio, and are the only public institution in the state to offer this breadth of studio specialties. 

Degree Program Offerings

Studio Art – M.F.A. and M.A.

M.F.A. students may choose a concentration in Ceramics, Drawing, Glass, Painting, Jewelry/Metals/Enameling, Print Media and Photography, Sculpture and Expanded Media, or Textiles.

Students may specialize in geographic regions—including African, American, Asian, or European art—or historic periods—including Medieval, Renaissance, Modern, or Contemporary art.

Students are supported and challenged by a world-class faculty, who stimulate individual and collaborative creativity in the classroom, studio and gallery spaces. An accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, the School of Art lies in the heart of the vibrant Northeast Ohio arts community and also offers travel study to cities such as New York City, Washington D.C., Florence, Italy and Paris, France, as well as other domestic and international destinations.
