An anthropology degree from 91²Ö¿â can open the door for a career in academia, with a museum, as a documentary filmmaker, in a government agency, as a research analyst, in the field of sustainable development and much more. 91²Ö¿â’s Anthropology department has a team of faculty experienced in three disciplines of anthropology: archaeologycultural anthropology and biological anthropology. Our courses are taught in our well-equipped and configured Lowry Hall facility. We have two small seminar rooms, a 40-seat teaching classroom and a 140-seat auditorium available for standard courses. There is also a teaching lab for undergraduate courses focusing on analytical and laboratory methods. A computer lab with up to date statistical software is available for graduate students and Anthropology majors.

The Department of Anthropology at 91²Ö¿â offers both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, minors in Anthropology and Forensic Anthropology, as well as three LER’s, three writing-intensive courses, and seven courses that meet University Diversity course standards. Students accepted into the M.A. program focus on one of the three fields. Biological anthropology students can earn a Ph.D. in the Biomedical Sciences, Biological Anthropology Program.
