Health and Safety

Your Health and Safety is Our First Priority

Your seat is waiting when you are ready! We are eager to welcome you back for a safe and memorable experience at the Performing Arts Center. Our commitment to the health and safety of our guests, artists, staff and volunteers is our first priority always. We will continue to follow university, local, county, state and CDC guidance as part of our commitment.

We understand the concerns you may have as you consider buying tickets to future events and we want you to feel confident in your purchase.

As your performance date approaches, if you or a member of your group are not feeling well as or have concerns about attending a show, know that we have flexible options available for you.

Please contact us in advance of your show time and date and we will review your options with you.

We are available to answer any questions you may have at 330-308-6400 or by email at performingartscenter@kent.edu.

Masks are Optional

As of March 3, 2022, The Performing Arts Center welcomes and supports face coverings. Masks are no longer required to be worn, but for certain segments of our population, they may be necessary. Please join us in respecting the personal decision of your fellow attendees.

Air Quality

Our HVAC system utilizes a double filtration system with increased outside air circulation. In addition to our already existing double filter HVAC system, a needlepoint ionization unit has been added to the PAC’s air handling system to enhance air purification and filtration. This technology has been proven to purify indoor air by reducing airborne particles, odors, and pathogens as well as inactivating up to 99.4% of the COVID-19 virus.

Seating

All engagements will be ticketed up to full capacity.  No physical distancing of guests will be implemented.

Clean Hands

We have hand sanitizer available in the theaters and encourage guests to wash their hands frequently.
