NURSING FACULTY SELECTED BY OADN AS FELLOW

91²Ö¿â at Tuscarawas Associate Professor of Nursing Dr. Denise M. McEnroe-Petitte, has been selected for induction into the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) Academy for Associate Degree Nursing (AADN).

OADN celebrates all fellows of the AADN and their remarkable contributions to students, faculty, patients, communities, and the nurse leaders of tomorrow. Dr. McEnroe-Petitte will be officially designated during the OADN 2020 Virtual Town Hall meeting at a later date.

The AADN was established to recognize those individuals who model exemplary dedication to associate degree nursing education and practice and have worked as change agents to advance health and education through associate degree nursing.

Dr. McEnroe-Petitte has been teaching nursing at the undergraduate level for the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (ADN) and the RN-BSN nursing programs at 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas since 1996. Her career as a registered nurse began over 40 years ago, working in a variety of roles from intensive care work to management roles in a hospital. Dr. McEnroe-Petitte also serves as the community engagement coordinator for the 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas campus.

Dr. Brad Bielski, Dean and Chief Administrative Officer at 91²Ö¿â Tuscarawas, shared, “I am very proud of the hard work and accomplishments of Dr. McEnroe-Petitte and of the tremendous success of our nursing program. Our faculty play a key role in the success of our students as future registered nurses.â€

Dr. McEnroe-Petitte earned a PhD at Capella University, an MSN at The University of Akron, a BSN at 91²Ö¿â, and AS at 91²Ö¿â at Stark.
