Graduating from 91²Ö¿â is an exciting achievement, but you may have questions about the process before – and after - the big day. Once the ceremony is behind you, there are still a few things to take care of as you transition to life after graduation.  

From receiving your diploma to participating in unique celebrations, it’s essential to stay informed about what comes next. 91²Ö¿â has planned various events to honor graduates, including celebrations for specific communities and opportunities for alumni involvement. Visit the Commencement site for details about downloading your tickets, for ADA accommodations or for other details.  

To help you navigate the post-commencement process, 91²Ö¿â Today has compiled answers to some frequently asked questions about receiving your diploma, upcoming events, ADA accommodations and more.

Q: When will I receive my diploma?

Your digital diploma will arrive in your 91²Ö¿â email inbox approximately four to five weeks after commencement. Paper diplomas will be mailed separately to your diploma-specific address (if listed) or permanent address on file seven to 10 days after you receive your digital diploma. To verify a diploma or permanent address, visit and select “My Personal Information†located under “Profile.†Contact gradsvc@kent.edu with any diploma questions.

Q: Is there anything I need to do after commencement?

Make sure you check your student account balance in and complete and repayment. You can also unsubscribe to FlashAlerts, take the post-graduation survey and if there was an instructor who inspired you, fill out the 2025 Faculty Recognition form to thank them.

Q: Will there be other commencement celebrations?

The 2025 Lavender Celebration is scheduled for May 1 to honor the LGBTQ+ and ally students at 91²Ö¿â. Karamu Ya Wahitimu/Celebración de los Graduados, scheduled for May 7 is held to celebrate the accomplishments of all graduating African American, Native American, Latinx, Hispanic and Multiracial undergraduate and graduate students. On May 9, the BSN Convocation Ceremony will be taking place for graduating nursing students. Registration is required and limited for these events.

Q: Where can I find the photos from the ceremony?

Use Gradimages to find your photos by inserting your last name and graduation year. You can also use the website to order copies or prints. After two years, the photos are permanently removed from Gradimages’ system, so make sure you get those orders in!

Q: How can I still get involved on campus as an alum?

91²Ö¿â’s Alumni office is determined to foster meaningful, long-term connections between 91²Ö¿â and its graduates. There are always upcoming alumni events to look forward to, as well as graduate programs and certificates for you to pursue.
