The 91²Ö¿â Museum opened a new exhibition titled âLife in Style: The Wardrobe of James Mulholland.â
Sarah Rogers, director of the museum, spoke to WJW-Fox 8 about the exhibition for One Tank Trips, the stationâs series that highlights interesting destinations that do not take a long car ride.
âWe have over 30,000 objects in the collection,â Rogers said. âYou can see everything from Japanese kimonos to very fancy dresses from the 18th century.â
The main focus of the exhibit is fashion insider James Mulholland and his collection of contemporary male clothing.
âThe thing Iâm most thrilled about is the fact that 91²Ö¿â wanted to do an exhibition on menswear,â Mulholland told Fox 8. âWhich is something that very rarely, if ever, comes up.â
In the interview, he discussed how he amassed the collection of clothing throughout his time working in the fashion industry.
âThe collection was really all about how an individual expresses themselves through their clothing, the story that they tell,â Mulholland said.
