IN A FLASH: Views From Karamu

A member of the Fall Class of 2023 is embraced by her dean at the Karamu ceremony

As part of the Karamu Ya Wahitimu/Celebración De Los Graduados pre-commencement ceremony, presented by the E.Timothy Moore Student Multicultural Center, graduating  students are recognized and bestowed with a cultural stole by a faculty member in their respective college.

This pre-commencement celebration and final Rites of Passage is graduation ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of all graduating African American, Native American, Latinx, Hispanic and Multiracial undergraduate and graduate students. The ceremony took place in the Kent Student Center Ballroom.
