All this week, “In A Flash†will feature images from the 91²Ö¿â group’s trip to Rwanda.
Emily Spencer, a senior human development and family science major in 91²Ö¿â's College of Education, Health and Human Services from North Canton, took part in a wildlife safari at , Central Africa’s largest protected wetland and refuge for savannah-adapted species in Rwanda.
Spencer is one of seven 91²Ö¿â students taking part in the Kigali Summer Institute study abroad program in Kigali, Rwanda. This is her first trip outside of the U.S. and she believes that it will help to prepare her for possible service in the Peace Corps.
The park’s features include woodland areas, swamps, low mountains and savannah. Visitors can see zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles and hundreds of bird species.
