IN A FLASH: The Glow from the Grow

These brightly lit greenhouses attached to the north side of Cunningham Hall are some of the rooms of the 91ֿ Department of Biological Sciences' Herrick Conservatory. Inside are large trees, cacti and succulents, ferns, tropical species and other humidity loving plants, and even carnivorous plants. The conservatory also houses research space for faculty and students in the Department of Biological Sciences.

As the days grow colder and the leaves fall from the trees, the Herrick Conservatory offers a year-round green place on campus. It is open weekdays from 9-5 and members of the university community are invited to visit.
