Construction Management Students Take First Place

Freshman and sophomore construction management students from 91²Ö¿â's College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) attended the University of Cincinnati (UC) New Builders Competition and took first place for the second year in a row.

The project for this year challenged students to create an all-encompassing plan for the Mercy Health Hospital's Free Standing Emergency Department. Students were asked to create a project management plan, estimate, schedule, safety plan, logistics plan and quality control plan.

After creating the proposal, the team presented to Danis Construction at UC.

The college is proud to have a great team of young and future Construction Management leaders in our program. The team of students included:

  • AK Fullmer
  • Jeslyn Hyde
  • Lexi Barnett
  • Christine Bucey
  • McKenna Milks
  • Dean Urbanski
  • Interim Program Coordinator Anthony Mirando
