91²Ö¿â at Stark is preparing high school juniors and seniors and their parents on how to choose the right college. Get Started: A Crash Course in College Planning, a free information session designed to facilitate a smooth transition from high school to college, will be held Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. in 91²Ö¿â Stark’s Main Hall Auditorium, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. This event is intended for students preparing to attend any higher education institution and is not limited to 91²Ö¿â Stark.
Get Started: A Crash Course in College Planning will guide the process of choosing the right college by break-ing down preferences, needs, resources, academic program offerings, athletics, scholarships and other aspects that give the student the best chance for a successful college career. Session topics include how to choose a major, what to expect in a typical college class, the right time to apply for college, what to look for in a college, and how to get scholarships, among others. Light refreshments will be served. Application fees will be waived for 91²Ö¿â Stark Spring 2018 and Fall 2018 applications submitted at the event.
