CACM Alumnus Inspires His Students to Create Positive Change

91²Ö¿â alumnus Chad Meyers, who graduated in 1992 with a degree in Peace & Conflict Studies (now offered as Applied Conflict Management through the School of Peace and Conflict Studies), was mentioned in a recent article for being an inspiration to his own students.

Chad, a social studies teacher at James Ford Rhodes High School in Cleveland, truly cares about his students, and demonstrates that in his work. One of his former students has been hired as New York City's first LGBT student liaison, and in a recent interview, talks about the major impact that Chad had on him as a his teacher.  His story is truly inspiring, and is also a good illustration of how conflict management skills and a commitment to social justice and positive change can really make an impact.

We are so proud of Chad for what he does, and it sounds like his students are going on to make quite a positive impact as well!
